What You'll Be Working With

This role is well-suited to someone at the early stages of their Project Management path or transitioning into project management from another field. You're looking to gain hands-on exposure to projects and build toward taking ownership of projects independently.

Our intention is to have you work alongside a Project Manager on 1-2 projects, whilst working with PMO tasks for another programme or group of projects. This approach allows for knowledge of different setups as well as showing how the business and our clients operate in reality, thereby providing a broad base on which to build your experience.

You demonstrate:

Eagerness to learn and advance, showing curiosity and motivation to develop project management capabilities

Conscientious approach to supporting project delivery and your colleagues

Organisational skills and attention to detail in managing project documentation and processes

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders

Beginner-level capabilities across core PM disciplines, with developing intermediate skills in Quality Reviews & Assurance

Don't meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply if you meet most of these qualifications and are eager to develop your project management capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

Project Plans & Controls: Assist in the establishment and maintenance of project plans and controls, as defined by the Project Manager, to enable effective project planning and controls aligned to stakeholder needs and organizational standards.

Project Governance & Reporting: Support the Project Manager in establishing project governance aligned with project/programme governance arrangements. Organize key project meetings and provide administrative support. Define and maintain project reporting requirements and cadence; ensure other related organizational tasks are carried out efficiently. Monitor project progress and compliance with regards to organizational policies, security, health and safety, equality and diversity, stakeholder continuity and planning.

Project Scheduling: Support the Project Manager with the development and maintenance of the project schedule for activities required to successfully complete the project, including dependencies, resource requirements, and constraints.

Project Financial Control: Monitor project spend and support with the compilation of budgets and update/tracking of the business case, where applicable.

Project Resource Planning: Establish and maintain project resource planning, providing information for effective decision-making to the Project Manager.

Stakeholder Engagement: Support the setup and maintenance of the project stakeholder and communications logs. Help ensure stakeholders are kept informed and aligned.

Project Risks & Issues Management: Set up and maintain project risk and issue logs through periodic risk reviews. Support the Project Manager in monitoring and managing project risks.

Guidance & Support: Provide advice and guidance to the project team on application of agreed project approaches, tools, forms and templates appropriate for organisational context and project. Set up and maintain project file management using robust version control.
