About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. And when your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering teams.

We’ll appreciate your creative, solutions-oriented approach, your solid technical know-how, your impressive teamwork skills, your proactive collaboration, and the way we can count on you to get things done - and get them done well. Sound like you? Read on.

In this role, you will…

Participate as a member of a project team comprised of Project Management, Buyers, Customer Service, and other cross-functional partners to successfully complete conveyor and material handling projects.

Own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules and budgets and tracking engineering change orders.

Lead conversations and drive results with vendors and other suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs.

Review customer specifications to ensure requirements are incorporated throughout the design process.

Provide technical support throughout the engineering process.

Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with external vendors, and obtain customer approvals.

Check drawings produced by others for accuracy.

Validate handshakes and data exchange between multiple automation solutions to ensure successful integration within the overall system design.

We’re excited about you because…

You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related area.

You are proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor or similar tools is a plus.

You are an expert in standard concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering, particularly in the material handling industry.

You can apply varying degrees of creativity and latitude to solve problems.

You are able to evaluate and anticipate project tasks with minimal direction, understanding that delivery is driven by project timelines.

You have years of experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Pallet Shuttle ASRS, and high-speed conveyor systems.

You have experience in leading, mentoring, or managing other team members.

You communicate effectively across teams and functions, building alignment and keeping work moving forward.

You work hard, you work well with others, and you’ve got a positive attitude.
