Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Solar Project Engineer to manage on-site solar project execution, installation, commissioning, and technical coordination. The candidate should have strong field experience in solar projects and the ability to ensure timely and quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise solar projects at site as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
  • Manage solar panel installation, inverter installation, DC/AC cabling, earthing, and electrical connections.
  • Coordinate with contractors, technicians, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Monitor daily site activities, manpower, material availability, and project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to solar installations and electrical systems.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, and material requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients and resolve site-related technical issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in solar project execution and fieldwork.
  • Practical knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and commissioning.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
  • Strong site management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects.
  • Knowledge of solar plant installation, testing, commissioning, and safety procedures.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on, field-oriented professional who can independently manage solar project site activities, coordinate with teams, resolve technical challenges, and deliver projects within defined timelines.
