Project Engineer (Offroll)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in the solar industry to lead and manage rooftop and ground-mounted PV projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in project execution, safety compliance, vendor management, and statutory approvals, with the ability to independently manage the entire project cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• •Ensure compliance with safety practices , PPE requirements, and preparation of HIRA & site-specific work method statements.
• •Oversee erection, installation, and commissioning of PV power projects.
• •Prepare and manage project schedules, reporting, risk assessments , and problem-solving activities.
• •Independently manage the entire project cycle from planning to completion.
• •Verify that all work aligns with approved construction drawings, contracts, specifications, and applicable local/national/international standards .
• •Coordinate vendor management and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• •Handle statutory approvals and legal compliance related to project execution.
• •Interpret and work with engineering drawings effectively.
• •Travel and stay at various project sites across South India as required.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• •Strong knowledge of solar rooftop systems (metal roof, RCC, and ground-mounted).
• •Excellent written and oral communication skills .
• •Ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• •Proficiency in project scheduling tools and reporting mechanisms.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
