  • Facilitate communication and decision-making among stakeholders to mitigate project delays, budget concerns, and execution risks.
  • Balance engineering resources across multiple projects and business priorities.
  • Foster collaboration between Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and other functional teams to improve project outcomes and operational performance.

Project Management:

  • Directly manage large and complex capital projects from concept development through commissioning and project closeout.
  • Lead projects with significant scope, cross-functional involvement, and capital expenditures that may exceed $5 million.
  • Develop project scopes, business cases, budget estimates, schedules, risk mitigation plans, and project approval documentation.
  • Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with site leadership regarding project status, costs, milestones, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure projects achieve safety, quality, operational, and financial objectives.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement:

  • Direct department activities to ensure successful execution of capital projects on schedule and within approved budgets.
  • Improve capital project execution through the creation, implementation, and continuous refinement of engineering processes, standards, templates, and work practices.
