Description

An experienced Project Manager to lead client-facing and internal initiatives from intake through implementation and operational handoff. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and comfortable coordinating cross-functional work in a deadline-driven environment. Experience in print, mail, document composition, or transactional communications is strongly preferred, along with practical knowledge of PMI project management principles.

Project Manager

  • Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, implementation, and closeout.
  • Create and maintain project plans, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, decisions, and action-item logs.
  • Coordinate work across clients, programming, data processing, document composition, quality assurance, production, infrastructure, customer service, sales, and vendors.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, requirements reviews, implementation readiness reviews, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Gather and clarify business, technical, operational, print, and mailing requirements; confirm scope, assumptions, acceptance criteria, and change impacts.
  • Partner with technical and operational teams to develop estimates, resource plans, implementation timelines, and production transition plans.
  • Monitor project health and communicate clear status, accomplishments, upcoming work, risks, issues, decisions, and required escalations.
  • Manage scope changes through documented impact analysis, approval, schedule updates, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate testing, client approvals, production validation, launch readiness, knowledge transfer, and project documentation.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive practical mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure project records are complete, current, and accessible, including requirements, schedules, approvals, and lessons learned.
  • Build productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while balancing urgency, quality, cost, security, and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, operations, project management, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Three to five years of project management or project coordination experience delivering cross-functional business or technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, technical teams, and production operations.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, action-item tracking, and change documentation.
  • Ability to translate client and business needs into clear, actionable requirements and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, organization, follow-through, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of project lifecycle controls, quality assurance, implementation readiness, and operational handoff.
