Job Description – Project Manager (HVAC & Chiller Projects - Data Center)

• Location: Hyderabad
• Experience: 12+Years
• Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of large-scale HVAC and Chiller projects , with a strong focus on Data Center infrastructure projects . The individual will be responsible for managing project planning, execution, installation, commissioning, stakeholder coordination, budget management, and successful project delivery while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in managing Data Center cooling infrastructure, central chiller plants, HVAC systems, and mission-critical facilities projects .

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Management

• •Manage end-to-end execution of HVAC and Chiller projects from project kickoff through customer handover.
• •Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• •Monitor project progress and ensure achievement of cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• •Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• •Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and customers.

HVAC & Chiller System Projects

• •Manage installation and commissioning of: Water-Cooled Chillers Air-Cooled Chillers Chilled Water Systems Cooling Towers Pumps & Hydronic Systems CRAH & CRAC Units Precision Cooling Systems HVAC Controls & Building Automation Systems
• •Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables.

Data Center Project Execution

• •Lead HVAC package delivery for Data Center projects.
• •Coordinate with Electrical, IBMS/BMS, Fire & Security, and Commissioning teams.
• •Ensure compliance with Data Center project standards and customer requirements.
• •Support system testing, integrated testing, commissioning, and final acceptance.

Commercial & Cost Management

• •Monitor project budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• •Track project variations, change orders, and billing milestones.
• •Ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition.
• •Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance.

Stakeholder Management

• •Act as primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
• •Conduct regular project review meetings and status reporting.
• •Manage project escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Quality & Safety

• •Ensure compliance with EHS standards and project quality procedures.
• •Conduct site reviews, audits, and safety compliance checks.
• •Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned activities.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
• •Electrical Engineering graduates with significant HVAC project management experience may also be considered.
• •PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• •8-15 years of experience in Project Management and Project Execution.
• •Minimum 5 years of experience managing HVAC or Chiller projects.
• •Proven experience delivering Data Center projects or mission-critical facility projects.
• •Experience managing large EPC, HVAC, or Building Infrastructure projects.
