Project Manager – JLL

What this job involves:

As a Project Manager at JLL, you will lead small to medium-sized projects ranging from tenant renovations to ground-up construction of new buildings. You will serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, orchestrating all aspects of project delivery while working under the guidance of a project executive. This role is essential to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional real estate solutions, as you will drive project success through strategic planning, team coordination, and client relationship management. Your expertise will directly contribute to building environments that enhance our clients' operations and support their business goals across the New England region.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• •Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout project lifecycles
• •Identify, procure, and manage services from designers, contractors, and other project team members to ensure quality delivery
• •Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules, proactively addressing variances and ensuring financial targets are met
• •Organize and lead project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and distributing comprehensive meeting minutes
• •Conduct regular site visits to project locations and client sites throughout the New England region, primarily in the greater Boston area
• •Coordinate with project executives to align on strategy, escalate issues, and ensure projects meet JLL's quality standards
• •Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines while implementing proactive risk management strategies

Required Qualifications:

• •Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building design, construction, or facilities management
• •Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science-related field or other relevant discipline (engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management)
• •Proven track record of successfully managing small to medium-sized construction or renovation projects from initiation through completion
• •Strong budgeting and financial management skills with demonstrated ability to control project costs
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• •Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• •Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the New England region for site visits
• •Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Experience with mechanical systems in laboratory environments
• •Background in public schools, K-12, or higher education facility projects
• •Demonstrated capability of managing multiple small to medium capital projects simultaneously
• •Experience in healthcare, multifamily, or senior living construction projects
• •Ability to manage and cover projects in Rhode Island, Maine, and/or New Hampshire
• •Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential
• •Familiarity with LEED or other sustainable building practices

Location: Hybrid (Boston office-based with site visits throughout New England region; some work-from-home flexibility available based on client needs)

Work Shift: Standard business hours with flexibility required for site visits and client meetings

Expected compensation for this position:

• 95,000.00 – 125,000.00 USD per year
• Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
