Project Planner Job Description Summary

Project Planner in a data center environment is responsible for leading and managing project planning and scheduling activities. Key responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and integrating project schedules in alignment with client requirements and company's internal delivery strategy. The role involves tracking progress, monitoring key milestones, and analyzing variances to highlight critical risks or delays. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams, is essential. The planner also provides regular schedule updates, forecasts, and what-if analysis to support decision-making and contributes to project reporting, including dashboards and progress reports. About the Role:

Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules for data centre projects

Coordinate planning inputs from ICT, facilities, contractors, and vendors

Track progress, identify delays, and recommend recovery plans

Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for management

Support risk analysis, look-ahead planning, and change impact assessments

About You:

Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler on infrastructure or ICT projects

Strong proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)

Solid understanding of data centre construction and ICT project sequencing

Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills

Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical project environment
