Reece has supported the trade for more than 100 years. Our purpose is simple: building a better world for our customers by being the best. In this role, you’ll bring that purpose to life by finding and progressing locations that work for our customers, our branch teams and the communities we serve.
About the role
Reporting to the Design and Development Lead, you’ll manage the development process from site identification to development approval. - Lead due diligence, financial analysis and risk assessment for prospective properties.
- Manage lease and purchase negotiations and coordinate external consultants.
- Navigate planning schemes, zoning, development approvals, permits and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Operations, Store Design and Construction to deliver practical, operationally sound outcomes.
- Prepare clear recommendations, presentations and handover information for stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships and contribute to strategic projects and better ways of working across the Property team.
About you
- You bring at least 10 years’ experience in property development, leasing, acquisitions or a related field.

- You’re a confident commercial negotiator with strong financial and project management capability.
- You understand property planning and approval pathways and can balance commercial outcomes with risk.
- You communicate clearly, build productive relationships and are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
- You’re organised, practical and motivated by turning opportunities into results.
Our commitment to you
At Reece, we’re committed to helping our people discover their best. You’ll join a business that values integrity, collaboration, practical thinking and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our long-term growth.
