Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• •Provide direct supervision and support to youth during assigned shifts.
• •Build positive, professional relationships with residents.
• •Assist youth with daily living activities, routines, and personal development goals.
• •Facilitate recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• •Implement treatment plans and behavior support strategies as directed.
• •Monitor resident behavior and document observations accurately.
• •Assist with transportation to appointments, school, and community activities.
• •Conduct room checks, safety checks, and facility inspections as required.
• •Respond appropriately to behavioral crises and emergency situations.
• •Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution skills.
• •Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• •Complete required documentation and reports before the end of each shift.
• •Attend staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.

Requirements

Qualifications

• •High School Diploma or GED required.
• •Experience working with youth, behavioral health, social services, education, or residential care preferred.
• •Ability to work with youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
• •CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention certification (or ability to obtain).
• •Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• •Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
