Purchasing Supervisor (Cost Control)

• Position Summary
• Responsible for driving cost reduction initiatives, managing supplier sourcing activities, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining supply continuity and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• •Identify and lead cost reduction projects to achieve annual savings targets.
• •Manage RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• •Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to optimize procurement expenses.
• •Develop and manage supplier performance, including corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.
• •Mitigate supply risks through sourcing strategies, safety stock, buffer stock, and VMI programs.
• •Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support sourcing and cost improvement initiatives.
• •Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier competitiveness.
• •Supervise and develop team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• •Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Procurement, or Supplier Development within a manufacturing environment.
• •Strong knowledge of sourcing, RFQ management, cost analysis, negotiation, and supplier management.
• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• •Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• •Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• •Good command of English.
