What you’ll own

• •You will be owning the designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
• •You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
• •You will work alongside the Automation Test Lead to progress automation backlog items
• •You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
• •You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
• •You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium
• •You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
• •You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
• •You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
• •You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes

What you'll bring

• •Previous experience of working as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

• •Experience within an agile development environment
• •Experience of test automation using Selenium Web Driver
• •Ability to refactor code to reduce complexity

• •Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing
• •Determined – you stay open – winning, and failing, as one. Always looking for solutions that add value.
• •Practical experience of agile testing methodologies – BDD, TDD etc.
• •Making decisions, often with limited information and communicating these to others within the team
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills
• •Unix and SQL skills
