We’re hiring a QC Lab Technician to support our Quality Control and production teams by testing materials, maintaining lab standards, and ensuring our products meet specifications. Job Responsibilities

• •Perform Quality Control testing on asphalt and aggregate materials
• •Collect, prepare, and evaluate material samples (up to 50 lbs)
• •Inspect truck beds and materials for quality and compliance
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient QC laboratory
• •Mix and match product colors to customer specifications
• •Complete required Quality Control documentation
• •Assist with additional lab or plant duties as needed

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Quality Control, lab, manufacturing, or construction materials experience preferred but not required
• •Willingness to learn — training provided
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• •Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• •Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• •Flexible to work extended hours during peak production seasons

Work Environment

This role offers variety — no sitting at a desk all day

• •Combination of indoor lab and outdoor plant work
• •Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust)
• •Safety-focused manufacturing environment
• •Occasional interaction with heavy equipment and machinery

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• •Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• •Able to shovel dense or wet material when necessary
