Job Description:
QNX, a division of BlackBerry Limited (NYSE: BB; TSX: BB), provides the trusted foundation that software-defined and physical AI systems depend on to operate safely and predictably in the real world. For nearly half a century, QNX has powered safety-critical applications where failure is not an option. The business leads the way in delivering safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, middleware, solutions, and development tools, along with the support and services delivered by trusted embedded software experts. Today, QNX technology underpins hundreds of millions of vehicles on the road and a wide range of mission-critical systems across industrial controls, robotics, medical devices, commercial transportation, rail, and aerospace and defense.
Are You the Person We're Looking For?
At QNX, we're building more than industry-leading embedded software. Through our QNX Everywhere initiative, we're creating a thriving developer ecosystem that connects open-source technologies, startups, universities, consortiums, technology partners, and developers with the QNX Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). We're looking for an Ecosystem Program Manager to help scale and operationalize that vision. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of ecosystem initiatives, managing strategic partnerships, and ensuring external engagements translate into measurable outcomes for QNX and our developer community.
Are you someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, partnerships, and program execution? Do you enjoy bringing people together, building meaningful relationships, and turning strategic ideas into measurable results? We're looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about growing technology ecosystems. You enjoy working with startups, developers, universities, open-source communities, industry consortiums, and technology partners. You're comfortable navigating both technical and business conversations and can coordinate activities across multiple teams and organizations simultaneously.
If you enjoy working with cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and helping shape the future of the developer ecosystem around QNX, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Own the operational execution of the QNX Everywhere ecosystem strategy, ensuring initiatives progress from approval through completion.
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for ecosystem partners, technology vendors, universities, consortiums, incubators, accelerators, and other strategic organizations.
- Lead and manage the QNX Everywhere Enablement Program, helping partners integrate QNX-related offerings, developer resources, and assets into their platforms and user experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem partners while identifying opportunities to increase engagement, adoption, and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, dashboards, KPIs, and executive status reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, marketing, developer relations, product management, sales, legal, and finance teams.
- Manage relationships with incubators and accelerators such as startup hubs, innovation networks, and entrepreneurial programs.
- Create engagement plans, run recurring operational meetings, and ensure commitments, deliverables, and obligations are completed.
- Connect startups, developers, researchers, and ecosystem participants with appropriate QNX resources and subject matter experts.
- Manage operational aspects of industry consortiums, standards bodies, and strategic technology initiatives.
- Participate in consortium working groups, track action items, and ensure organizational commitments are fulfilled.
- Manage sponsorship activities and associated contracts, including NDAs, SLAs, SOWs, sponsorship agreements, and academic framework agreements.
- Coordinate procurement and purchasing activities required to support ecosystem investments and programs.
- Track engagement outcomes, program effectiveness, ecosystem investments, renewal cycles, sponsorship commitments, and budget utilization.
- Maintain a partner inventory database and identify opportunities to strengthen ecosystem coverage.
- Develop scalable, repeatable frameworks for:

- Renewal and exit decisions
- Coordinate QNX participation in hackathons, workshops, conferences, demo days, job fairs, and other community events.

- Use modern AI tools responsibly to help automate, streamline, and scale ecosystem operations and reporting activities.
- Travel as needed to support ecosystem partners, events, workshops, and strategic engagements.
