NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB

The Quality Assurance Analyst supports the Safety & Compliance Department by administering fleet safety and regulatory compliance programs. The role is responsible for ensuring driver qualification records, driver logs, roadside inspections, safety training, and regulatory documentation remain compliant with company policies and applicable transportation regulations.

The Quality Assurance Analyst assists with driver onboarding, monitors safety performance, administers compliance programs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that reduce operational risk and improve overall fleet safety.

SHIFT DETAILS

Monday – Friday 09:00hrs to 18:00hrs

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Conduct safety reviews of new driver applications before approval.

Verify Driver Qualification File (DQF) requirements and supporting documentation.

Review driver licences, medical certificates, previous employment verification, MVRs, and other required documents.

Establish new driver accounts in company systems.

Coordinate driver onboarding and orientation.

Maintain Driver Qualification Files for active drivers.

Monitor document expiry dates and coordinate renewals.

Perform secondary monitoring and auditing of driver logs using the Driver Log Checklist.

Review Hours of Service (HOS) compliance.

Monitor unresolved log violations.

Investigate recurring HOS violations.

Escalate compliance concerns to the Safety & Compliance Manager.

Maintain records of completed log audits.

Support continuous improvement through audits, action plans, and trend analysis to strengthen safety performance, reduce violations, and improve overall operational compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistics, Safety Management, or related discipline.

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in transportation safety, fleet compliance, or regulatory compliance.

Professional Certificate in Safety and Compliance

Excellent computer and administrative skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Strong attention to detail

Able to quickly adapt to a changing environment
