Labcorp is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor - to join our team at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37hrs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Protocol review, data and report audits, process inspections to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) regulations
  • Follow applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Navigate to the regulations and able to read/understand specific regulations
  • Explain the role of QA (sufficient for client audits)
  • Establish relationships with operational colleagues
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance (RC&QA) responsibilities, as indicated in applicable controlled documents are followed
  • Work with operational management to support Quality topics and/or working on projects with QA team on other site
  • Contribute to local Quality initiatives and process improvement initiatives aimed at improving compliance and/or efficiency of the local QA organization

Minimum Qualifications :

A level Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Biomedical Science, toxicology, Genetic Toxicology, Biology, Chemistry

Additional Job Standards:

  • Work history of auditing or following study processes within the scientific industry and experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) , GxP or GCP
  • Excellent attention to detail paired with organisational and process improvement skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages to include Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel
  • This is an onsite office based role

The QA Auditor is responsible for auditing activities of a variety of studies working alongside laboratory and office teams providing regulatory guidance and supporting the reporting of multiple studies and study types.
