The Benefits, Pricing & Constructs (BPC) team, which includes Amazon Family, builds Earth's most engaging membership program — from Prime benefits and pricing to family sharing experiences, partnering with organizations like Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Digital Acceleration.

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer II to join our team. You should be able to understand software internals, debug problems using logs, and write automated tests using UI & Backend Frameworks in a fast-paced environment.

This is a high-visibility position where you'll collaborate with Senior SDEs, TPMs, Business Leaders, and Product Managers to deliver delightful experiences to millions of customers.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Analyze system designs, APIs, and code to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans for BPC and Amazon Family services
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using black-box and white-box testing techniques
  • Own end-to-end quality for features spanning web, mobile, and backend services
  • Lead manual QA efforts and coordinate testing with cross-functional teams across geographies
  • Debug complex issues using logs, monitoring tools, and service internals
  • Define scope and deliverables on manual and automation projects, driving execution end-to-end
  • Develop and track quality metrics to drive continuous improvement

Basic qualifications

  • - 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • - Experience in manual testing
  • - Experience in automation testing
  • - Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
  • - Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution

Preferred qualifications

  • - Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
  • - Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
  • - Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
  • - Experience scripting or coding
  • - Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
