Available Shift: 10-hour day shift Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (30 Min Lunch)
Hourly Wage: $18 – $26 depending on experience.
The QC Inspector will be performing various inspection processes depending on department and functions. We are looking for candidates with considerable knowledge of quality inspection, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibility:
Read and understand blueprints and GD&T
Use predetermined methods of inspection to verify parts meet the given design
Use inspection tools such as drop gages, dial indicators, height gage, calipers, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
Identify both cosmetic and dimensional defects in parts received from suppliers
Review and assist in the disposition of nonconformances in received parts and assembly failures.
Assist in determination of root causes for defects, and in formulation of corrective actions to prevent defect recurrence
Review drawings and inspection plan and submit Engineering Change Requests for changes needed.
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college is desirable
Possess working knowledge of inspection tools, equipment, methods, and instrumentation (including electronic inspection devices)
Ability to interpret and use Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
3 + years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
Basic Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
