Quality Inspector

Leidos Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a talented Quality Inspector. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Leidos is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers.

• •Primary Responsibilities.
• •Inspect components and assembled parts.
• •Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
• •Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
• •Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.

• •Basic Qualifications.
• •Candidate must possess a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of (7) years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
• •Candidate should have working knowledge of IPC-a-610 and IPC-J-STD-001
• •Candidate must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• •Must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• •The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• •Candidates must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.
• •Preferred Qualifications.
• •Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)

Prefer knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
