In this position, you will inspect the finished product to ensure that all requirements are met (both internal and external), document that the final inspection was performed, and then release to shipping. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

  • Interpret orthodontic prescriptions and evaluate appliance quality in accordance with the Doctor’s design
  • Assess and ensure product quality standards are met within assigned areas; understand and apply quality requirements, procedures, and work instructions
  • Verify required paperwork is correct and complete a final product inspection per approved standards to release order for shipment
  • Record rework and communicate details effectively with technicians to resolve product discrepancies while maintaining positive working relationships
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively across departments, including customer service
  • Support Quality Department with implementation of procedures on the floor
  • Assist with training other employees, as needed
