About this Position

The Securities Quality of Business Specialist obtains corrections for incoming new business applications including outside funds, 529 plans, and platform accounts. The role will communicate with our field force via telephone, e-mail, and/or fax. Applications that cannot be processed will be returned to the writing Representative. Outgoing mail is tracked to ensure proper delivery. The candidate will also perform quality control check on processed work as well as daily reconciliation to ensure all trades have been processed correctly within department standards.

Salary range is between $39K - $42K Annually

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• •Works individual items that are pulled from work queues
• •Reviews trades for deficiencies (not in good order or (NIGO))
• •Communicates deficiencies to the writing rep
• •Corrects trades, appends corrections to the application image, and routes image to appropriate queue
• •Runs daily monitor reports and works quality control queues
• •Mails applications that are not in good order to the appropriate rep and tracks UPS packages daily to ensure that they are received
• •Provides training to new employees within the processing area

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• •Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• •Familiarity with database and mainframe is a plus
• •Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
• •Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
• •Ability to work overtime as needed
• •Excellent proof reading skills
