What You'll Do

Reporting to the Regional QA Manager, you will support the day-to-day execution and maintenance of our Quality Control programs. Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, QC personnel, and external laboratory partners, you will help ensure quality systems remain effective, compliant, and audit-ready.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating sampling, testing, and environmental monitoring activities
  • Reviewing quality data and identifying trends or opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues
  • Maintaining quality records, documentation, and program requirements
  • Assisting with internal audits, third-party audits, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product quality and feed safety objectives
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports or people management responsibilities.

Position Scope

  • Reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Individual contributor position with no direct reports or people management responsibilities
  • Supports the maintenance, continuous improvement, and execution of Quality Control programs
  • Provides technical guidance and support to Quality Control Officers
  • Supports onboarding and training of QC personnel
  • Coordinates QC program activities across shifts
  • Assists with prioritization of testing and monitoring activities
  • Escalates performance or resource concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Provides shared coverage of QC Officer shifts as required

You are a detail-oriented quality professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting effective quality systems. You can work independently, communicate effectively across departments, and thrive in a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their expertise in quality systems, food and feed safety, compliance, and auditing while working closely with site leadership and operational teams.

You'll Also Need

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in agriculture, feed, food, or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies
  • HACCP certification or training preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and deliver results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and forward-thinking approach
  • Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs, climb ladders, and lift up to 55 lbs
