Quantity Surveyor

Supporting across multiple sectors, this role will perform various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.

This role is responsible for:

Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors

Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities

Estimating and Cost Planning

Value engineering

Tender evaluations and analysis

Contract negotiations

Cash flow projects

Procurement

Cost reporting

Evaluation of variations

Payment Recommendations

Final account reporting

Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims

Investment analysis

Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans

Qualifications

3-5+ years project experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction

Experience in cost estimating - CostX + Candy
