As a Quantum R&D Measurement Engineer , you will play a key hands-on role in supporting our state-of-the-art quantum processor development. In this position, your primary focus will be the execution of characterisation measurements across both room-temperature and cryogenic regimes. Working directly with our R&D teams across fabrication, device design, and integration, you will run tests and deliver the critical data needed to refine our manufacturing processes and decision-making. Your work will be essential as we scale to increasingly complex systems and deliver on the promise of quantum computing.

What you'll be doing

Execute DC, RF, and microwave measurement routines on test structures and quantum processors at both room temperature and cryogenic temperatures.

Collect, process, and document high-quality measurement data to support ongoing R&D projects in fabrication process development, device design, and integration.

Assist in operating and maintaining laboratory measurement setups, including cryogenic systems, microwave instrumentation, and automated test environments.

Support the broader R&D team by providing timely experimental feedback and execution support across all stage gates of our system development.

Help troubleshoot technical anomalies, wiring issues, noise sources, and setup configurations to maintain measurement integrity.

Your Profile

BSc or MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (a PhD is a plus).

Hands-on experience operating electrical/RF lab equipment (e.g., VNAs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators).

Experience with cryogenic measurement setups through industrial or academic work.

Strong interest in hands-on laboratory execution, test automation, and data acquisition.

Basic Python skills for data processing, analysis, or controlling instruments.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and methodical testing routines.

Familiarity with superconducting qubits, low-temperature physics, or microwave engineering principles is a plus.
