Ted Britt Ford Lincoln in Chantilly is seeking a Quick Lane Technician to join our growing service department.

This position is designed to be the starting point for a prosperous automotive career. Our Quick Lane is more than an entry-level job — it is a mentorship-driven environment where technicians gain real-world experience while working alongside some of the most experienced technicians in the region.

Our dealership currently has over 10 Ford Senior Master Technicians on staff , creating an incredible learning environment for technicians who want to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. Many of our top technicians started in the Quick Lane and advanced through training, mentorship, and dedication to their craft.

Responsibilities

• •Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
• •Perform maintenance and service work per manufacturer specifications.
• •Ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
• •Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
• •Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• •ASE certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) preferred.
• •Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• •Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• •Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins.
• •Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
