Job Summary**

Responsible for operating quilting machinery to produce high-quality quilted mattress components in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities**

• * Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated quilting machines, ensuring proper tension, stitch patterns, and material feed.
• * Load and unload fabric rolls, batting, and other materials onto quilting machines.
• * Perform routine machine adjustments, such as tension settings and needle changes, to maintain product quality.
• * Inspect quilted components for defects, inconsistencies, or errors and make necessary corrections.
• * Identify and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions, escalating complex issues to maintenance personnel.
• * Maintain a clean and organized work area around the quilting machinery.
• * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• * Follow production schedules and quality control standards.
• * Document production data as required.

Job Qualifications**

• * Previous experience operating industrial sewing or quilting machinery preferred.
• * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects.
• * Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments.
• * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• * Must be able to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
• * Good hand-eye coordination.
• * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• * Basic understanding of quality control principles.
• * High school diploma or equivalent.
