What you will do:

• •Lead Record to Report operations for assigned entities, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and general ledger management.
• •Manage month-end close activities in line with Lonza’s global reporting calendar, ensuring all milestones are achieved.
• •Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and drive timely resolution of accounting discrepancies and aged reconciling items.
• •Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and accounting professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• •Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while supporting internal and external audits.
• •Partner with global finance stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues and improve service delivery performance against KPI targets.
• •Drive process standardization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

• •Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record to Report operations within a global organization.
• •Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting or shared services teams.
• •Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
• •Experience working in a Shared Services environment and driving process improvement or automation initiatives.
• •Strong understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and financial reporting processes.
• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• •Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CIMA, required with business-fluent English communication skills.
