As a Radiographer, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.

As a Radiographer, you will:

• •Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
• •Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
• •Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
• •Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
• •Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• •Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.

The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we’re about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
