Job Description

Summary

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician.

Responsibilities

• •Performs radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulations
• •Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the department
• •Maintains documentation of patient testing information
• •Performs Dexa scans
• •Completes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology Manager
• •Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• •Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• •Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education

Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related area

Certifications/Licensure

• •Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
• •Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• •CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in a directly related area preferred

Technical Skills

Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others

Soft Skills

Effective written and verbal communication

Physical Requirements

• •Stand or sit for extended periods of time
• •Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
