Radiologic Technologist - General Radiology - Main Campus (Contingent)

Overview:

Contingent position with requirement of at least 2 shifts per month at Main Campus and/or LOSC.

Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.

Job Description:

• Essential Functions:
• •Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• •Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients' internal organs and structures.
• •Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
• •Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.
• •Collaborates other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
• •Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.

• Licensure Requirement:
• •Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
• •Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.

Certifications: CPR certification, required.

Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Experience:
• •One year of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences, required.
• •Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
