Hourly Pay Range:
$30.00 - $46.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
Position: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Skokie Hospital
Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem: PRN/Registry
Hours: As needed/PMs - Midnights and Weekends
Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
Required Travel: No
What you will do:
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Perform radiographic exams
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
- Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
- Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures
- Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department
- Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports
- May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours
- Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel
What you will need:
Education: Certificate of completion or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT required within 2 year of employment
· License: IEMA licensing required
Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
