About the Role

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting a 1st shift Forklift Operator. This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ. 1st shift operating hours are 7:00AM- 3:30PM

What You Will Do

• •Comply with all safety regulations and practices within the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
• •Operate reach truck equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within a warehouse environment.
• •Basic knowledge of operating mobile equipment and reporting malfunctions.
• •Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
• •Participate in inventory counts and audits as required, using the reach truck to access and verify stock levels in high shelving units.
• •Keep the warehouse (and facility) clean, organized and efficiently maintained.
• •Coordinate and communicate with production teams (on all shifts) about daily warehouse plan.
• •Focus on continually improving the workflow of the area.
• •Ability to read and interpret the production schedule and associated documents.
• •Additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• •High School Graduate or Equivalent
• •2 Years Experience operating a Reach Truck
• •Basic Mathematics, Reading and Writing
• •RF SCANNERS & Basic Computer Skills
• •Safe operation of PIT equipment
• •General knowledge of Distribution, Stocking & Logistics
• •Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• •Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• •Able to handle multiple work assignments and prioritize accordingly to assure completion.
• •Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• •Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation

$18.00/hourly rate

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
