WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE

JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high-energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.

We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:

Positive Attitude

Inclusion

Social Ties

Growth

For us, this means that when you choose a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new — you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do.

From your first day, you’ll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!).

If you love fast-paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles.

OE & THE JUICE is a fast-growing, freshly made juice, coffee, and sandwich concept founded in Copenhagen in 2002. Today, JOE has grown to more than 540 stores across 25 countries, creating a healthy, convenient, and energetic experience that extends far beyond our products and is centered around the people behind them.

We have an ambitious plan to grow to 1,000 stores by 2028, and we are looking for exceptional talent to join us on the journey.

At JOE, we are a people business. Our ambition is to become the first truly global, people-centric food and beverage company. Our culture is grounded in four core virtues: Positive Attitude, Inclusion, Social Ties, and Growth. These virtues guide how we work together, develop our people, and continue building a strong sense of belonging as we scale globally.

If that sounds like an environment where you would thrive, we would love to meet you.

We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded Real Estate Manager to join our U.S. Retail Real Estate team.

The role will also support broader U.S. real estate initiatives, including market strategy, site development, portfolio optimization, airport opportunities, and preparation of site approval and business case materials.

Regular travel will be required across our markets, typically ranging from one to four days at a time.

Develop new store business cases in partnership with internal stakeholders, including our CAPEX team

Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Construction, Design, Legal, and other key functions throughout the site development process

Present site opportunities clearly and effectively to internal decision makers

Ensure relevant stakeholders have visibility into timelines, risks, financial considerations, and next steps

Development & Store Openings

Participate in site surveys, work letter negotiations, and design development

Support permitting applications and new store construction processes

Partner with internal and external teams to help remove roadblocks and maintain development timelines

Support projects from site approval through opening to ensure a smooth transition into operations

Airport & Special Projects

Develop pitches, proposals, and bids for new airport locations across the U.S. in partnership with our brokerage and internal teams

Support real estate strategy and site development activities across additional U.S. markets as needed

Contribute to special projects supporting JOE’s continued U.S. expansion

Portfolio & Landlord Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords and key real estate partners

Support optimization of JOE’s existing store portfolio

Identify opportunities and risks within the current portfolio and partner internally on appropriate solutions

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate experience

Experience working for a national or regional retail, restaurant, hospitality, or consumer brand identifying and negotiating new locations, or experience with a leading commercial real estate brokerage such as CBRE, JLL, Newmark, or similar

Demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and completing real estate transactions

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Strong understanding of site selection, LOI negotiation, lease processes, and retail development

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and levels of an organization

Strong commercial judgment and ability to balance growth opportunities with financial and operational considerations

Professional and confident communication style with the ability to engage effectively with landlords, brokers, executives, and internal partners

Comfort working with financial models, market data, and typical business software, including Microsoft Office

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals, markets, and priorities simultaneously

Self-directed and comfortable driving projects and transactions to completion with limited day-to-day guidance

Ability and willingness to travel regularly across U.S. markets

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is $150,000 .

By joining Joe & The Juice, you are contributing to a healthier world, one juice at a time. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and encourage diversity in our workplace. Together, we can create memorable guest experiences and build a vibrant, successful community.
