Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will build strong, trusting relationships, empower individuals to set and achieve their goals, and support them in overcoming barriers to recovery.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping individuals regain independence, improve wellbeing, and achieve lasting recovery within a supportive and collaborative environment.

  • Support service users to access treatment, recovery and community resources
  • Deliver harm reduction interventions and promote recovery-focused outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using online case management systems
  • Support prison in-reach and positive community reintegration where required
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold Waythrough’s values of kindness, courage and respect

About You

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in substance misuse, criminal justice, mental health, social care or related sectors. Transferable skills and a willingness to learn are highly valued.

You will ideally have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this
  • Experience delivering one-to-one or group interventions
  • An understanding of recovery-focused and harm reduction approaches
  • Strong communication and partnership working skills
