Compensation Range

Hourly: $19.00 - $21.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions

• •Handle all inbound collection activity for direct deposit accounts, installment loan, and card products
• •Place outbound calls to delinquent direct deposit accounts
• •Review and handle voicemail follow-up and returned mail
• •Move funds using internal systems, such as Universal Maintenance Database
• •Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and quality assurance
• •Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• •Basic knowledge of collection management software, such as TSYS, SHAW or DM9
• •Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem-solve
• •Ability to ask questions, offer solutions, retain information and apply details to future situations
• •Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• •Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• •Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• •Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• •Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• •High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• •1+ year collections experience required
• •1+ year post charge-off collections experience preferred
• •Public Notary registration preferred
