Regional EHS Manager (m/f/d) EMEA

The following challenges await you:

• •Lead the implementation and continuous development of EHS culture, policies, and standards across the EMEA region and support the global EHS Team.
• •Establish a shared vision, clear direction, and accountability framework for EHS across regional sites.
• •Provide functional leadership and guidance to EHS teams within the region.
• •Drive the development and execution of a sustainable EHS strategy aligned with global objectives.
• •Ensure full compliance with all applicable EHS regulations to safeguard business continuity.
• •Monitor and assess regulatory developments, industry trends, and innovations, translating them into actionable insights.
• •Foster best practice sharing and strong cross-functional collaboration across the EMEA region.
• •Ongoing dialogue with other companies and associations to identify current developments in the field of EHS and assess their benefits for Heraeus.
• •Support M&A activities and new projects from an EHS perspective.
• •Build and maintain effective relationships with authorities and industry associations.
• •Act as a trusted advisor to regional and global leadership on all EHS matters.

Your profile:

• •University degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
• •\~10 years of professional experience in EHS, including significant exposure to local and international environments
• •Demonstrated experience in leading EHS initiatives and influencing without direct line authority
• •Strong background in EHS regulations and compliance within the EMEA region
• •Proven ability to drive cultural change and implement strategic initiatives
• •Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including external representation
• •Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
• •Fluent in English; good German knowledge is a plus
• •Willingness to travel within EMEA
