Regional Sales Manager

Now spanning across 50 states in the US, Harco Fittings LLC, was founded in 1966 in Lynchburg, Virginia as a producer of gasketed joint injection-molded PVC and push-on gasketed joint ductile fittings.

We are seeking a high-performing sales professional to lead territory growth, strengthen strategic customer relationships, and champion industry-leading piping solutions across a dynamic market. The Regional Sales Manager role offers the opportunity to work with distributors, consulting engineers, municipalities, contractors, and end users while directly influencing business success and long-term customer value.
We have three (3) opportunities available to cover each of the following sales territories:
North Carolina
Tennessee
Ohio

Own and grow a high-impact sales territory.
Build relationships with influential stakeholders across engineering, construction, utility and distribution channels.

What You Will Do
Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans that exceed revenue and growth objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor by promoting products, providing technical expertise and identifying customer solutions.
Conduct regular in-person customer visits, presentations and training sessions.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations and Marketing to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
Monitor market trends, order patterns, backlog activity and competitive intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and customer records through CRM tools.
Coordinate travel, customer meetings and territory priorities efficiently.
Support and mentor independent sales representatives where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Chemical preferred) or Business Administration/Marketing.
5–7 years of progressive sales or sales leadership experience.
Waterworks, utility, infrastructure or related industry experience is highly desirable.
Strong technical aptitude with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms.

Working Conditions & Travel
Primarily mobile office and customer-site based work.
Travel requirement of approximately 80–100 nights per year, including both automobile and air travel
Occasional exposure to manufacturing, warehouse and industrial environments.
