Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
This position is eligible for a variable compensation plan providing the opportunity for additional earnings above base salary, based on the performance of your assigned region. Actual variable compensation earnings vary based on attainment of revenue (sales) growth goals and gross profit margin percentage, and are governed by the terms of the applicable variable compensation plan document.

Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within their assigned region through the implementation of corporate and regional strategic sales plans. They work closely with the branch team to forge strong relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and provide guidance, support, and training. This role involves analyzing local market and competitive trends, recommending adjustments to improve sales strategies, and acting as a liaison between senior leaders, managers and employees involved in sales processes.
Essential Functions
- Embody the ARG Industrial Core Values of authenticity, taking ownership, being helpful and collaborative, having a desire to evolve and elevate, and exhibiting grit.
- Assist the Managers in implementing and auditing effective progress of the company sales program workflows for Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Counter Service, Field Support (VMI), Digital, and communicate issues to Director of Sales.
- Participate in opportunity and account reviews with the local team and actively review CRM with sales and managers for assistance and accountability on progress of opportunities.
- Make joint sales calls for coaching focused on products/service opportunities, stake holders, value driver discovery, customer strategy, preparation, and time management.
- Meet with key customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company's relationship with them.
- Provide guidance, support, training to the branches, participate in interviews and recruitment for key sales positions, ongoing sales management training for Managers.
- Responsible for assisting the branches in identifying meaningful opportunities with prospective customers, and key accounts and developing strategies to develop them.
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies, and establishing personal networks.
Working Conditions
- The role requires frequent travel within the assigned region.
- The position may involve working outside of standard business hours to meet with clients or attend events.
- The work environment is typically an office setting, with significant time spent in customer locations and at company branches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to lead high-performance sales teams.
- Strong organizational and change management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to plan and prioritize.
- Customer service-centric approach.
- Strong coaching skills.
- In-depth market knowledge.
- Effective process management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

- Willingness to continuously learn and develop professionally.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent professional experience that meets the role’s required standards will also fulfill the educational requirements.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
