Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada (BCL) is looking for a driven and relationship-focused sales professional to join our team as Regional Sales Manager, Quebec.

Leveraging your knowledge of the insurance and employee benefits industry, you'll work closely with advisors, consultants, brokerage firms, and other distribution partners to grow sales of our Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) products across the province. You'll identify new opportunities, strengthen key relationships, and help grow a profitable block of business within an established market.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and creating momentum in the marketplace. We're looking for a highly motivated sales professional who is energized by business development, comfortable opening doors, and passionate about delivering results.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage relationships with advisors, consultants, brokerage firms, and other distribution partners throughout Quebec.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and growing a profitable block of business.
  • Promote Blue Cross Life's portfolio of Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and AD&D products through presentations, training, and consultative sales support.
  • Provide market insights and product expertise to help partners identify opportunities and meet client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the Quebec market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and represent Blue Cross Life at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities throughout Quebec.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or relationship management within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the group insurance market, including industry trends, products, distribution channels, and the competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated success developing, growing, and managing a profitable block of business.
  • Proven success identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel throughout Quebec as required.
  • A Life Insurance licence is considered an asset; however, the successful candidate must be willing and able to obtain one.
  • Strong proficiency in both French and English is required to provide service to our customers and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary range starting at a minimum of $61,221, along with a sales incentive program that rewards the achievement of individual sales goals.
