Registered Civil Engineer (RCE)/Department Head

$10,000 signing bonus!! Pay Range: $165,000 - $187,000 per year DOE

Our clients include Public Agencies, Indian Tribes, SDG&E, Private Developers, Water Districts, and construction contractors. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, motivated registered engineer with management experience to serve as Head of our Civil Engineering Department and be a member of the Executive Management Team . We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

California Registration (RCE)

Ten years minimum experience managing employees, projects, clients and contracts

Fifteen years minimum experience in civil design utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D

Excellent skills utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with local agency requirements and regulations

Ability to manage a team independently, develop strong client relationships, and possess advanced skills in critical thinking and judgement

Desirable Experience:

Grading and Improvement Plan design

Electric utility design

Public agency projects

QSD, QSP Certification
