JOB DESCRIPTION

Love your job and feel full filled as an In-Home Care Registered Nurse. Noval SeniorCare/Family Tree Private Care is searching for full-time, part-time and PRN RNs. We are looking for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. RESPONSIBILITES

• •Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions.
• •Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
• •Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
• •Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
• •Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
• •Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
• •Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.

• •Strong interpersonal skills that allow them to get to know their patients, build personal rapport and establish trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients’ enjoyment and comfort.
• •Initiative so they can make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients.
• •The ability to follow instructions but also act independently if necessary.
• •Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
• •Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
• •Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
• •Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• •Relevant license and certification
• •A valid driver’s license and reliable transport
• •Ability to lift 25lbs
• •Strong candidates have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry – hospice, home health, hospital, etc.)
• •Strong clinical expertise in intravenous therapy, including venipuncture, infusion protocols, and vascular access device management.
• •Essential skills include patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring for adverse reactions, along with proficiency in EMR documentation and IV Pumps.
