Position Purpose:

The Crisis Nurse provides services to persons experiencing crisis and in need of immediate intervention. This position job responsibilities between three programs: Walk-In Crisis Unit, Central Recovery Center (CRC), and Adult Diversion and Stabilization (A-DAS). By assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care tailored to each patient's unique needs, you will contribute to the stabilization and recovery of those in crisis.

What you will do:

• •Completes medical triage and assessment
• •Case Management
• •Medication administration including the administration of long-acting injection medications
• •Being able to distinguish between emergent/urgent needs and ongoing clinical work
• •Medication Reconciliation with physicians and pharmacists.
• •Completes documentation in electronic medical records and utilization of varied electronic portals as needed.
• •Scheduling and tracking consumer appointments
• •Provides medication education

Minimum Qualifications:

• •Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing AND a minimum of one (1) year of paid behavioral health care experience OR a Registered Nurse AND a minimum of two (2) years of paid behavioral health care experience.
• •Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
• •Valid Driver’s License required.
• •Pre-employment physical/TB

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time non-exempt position (37.5 hours/week)

Saturday 6:30am to 7:00pm with 2 floating days
