Registered Nurse Med Surg (36 Hrs/Week, rotating day/Night)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• •Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• •Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
• •Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• •Update and manage patient records
• •Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• •Follow guidelines and policies established by SEMC’s nursing organization
• •Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN, Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :

• •Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• •Certification in basic life support (BLS) required
• •Advanced Cardiac Life support ( ACLS) certification required 90 days of hire
• •PCC Certification required within 1 year of hire

EXPERIENCE:

1+ years of RN experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• •Effective verbal and written communication skills
• •Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
• •Basic computer proficiency

Compensation Range:

$39.80- $93.69 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
