Job Description:

AdventHealth South Overland Park is hiring Registered Nurses across multiple specialties with NEW competitive rates and sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 for eligible roles . • •Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans across physical, emotional, and social factors
• •Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care, including medications and treatments in alignment with physician orders and protocols
• •Monitor patient conditions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
• •Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care for better health outcomes
• •Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care
• •Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• •Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• •Provide compassionate, patient-centered support and therapeutic communication

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• •Knowledge of nursing care methods and clinical procedures
• •Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• •Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• •EKG competency (based on patient population; see requirements documentation)
• •Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
• •Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft-based programs
• •Ability to apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess patients and adjust care plans

Education:

• •Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• •Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Pay Range:

• $32.83 - $61.05
