RN Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• •Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups
• •Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• •Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes
• •Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• •Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• •Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• •Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
• •Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes
• •Adhere to Mercy's Mission, Values, Service Standards, and Nursing Practice Guidelines

Required Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

Licensure

• •Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License
• •Must meet all applicable State Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications

• •Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• •BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• •Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, and perform direct patient care activities
