Description:

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.

What you will do

• •In this critical Registered Nurse RN role you will monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status.
• •Assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment and support and encourage rehabilitation.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Education : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• •BSN graduate preferred.
• •Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• •Certification : BLS required.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

• •Full-Time, weekends only, 12-Hr Night Shift.
• •Will work 24 hours (2 12-hr shifts) but will be paid or 30 hours per week.
• •All shifts will be every weekend, plus holidays.
• •All colleagues will be paid an additional differential during 24 hours worked and base pay during additional 6 non-worked hours. Also eligible for all shift differentials during 24 hours worked

Hourly Staff RN position; pay range: $36.15 – $59.95/hour

Pay is based on working RN experience only. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Unit Based Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience
