Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Description

Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work as a supervisor . The candidate will assist nurse managers with overseeing the clinical operations of our beautiful skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers.

Shift Availability :

• •Full-Time Evening shift
• •Full-Time Night shift

The shift manager will:

• •Monitor work flow of staff and redefine priorities as needed
• •Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met
• •Direct and evaluate nursing services provided on assigned shift, ensuring delivery of quality of resident care
• •Demonstrate knowledge of residents who are at high risk for negative outcomes and communicate to staff at all levels
• •Ensure appropriate resident care is documented during shift
• •Perform a variety of nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice such as wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, and administering oxygen
• •Act as a resource for nursing staff
• •Other duties as assigned
