About You

Registered Veterinary Technicians preferred, but will consider unlicensed techs

2+ years working in a veterinary clinic

Emergency or specialty experience a plus

Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level patient and client care

Experience

Venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection

Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and procedures

Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy

Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ)

Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs, ultrasound support)

Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care

Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling

Patient monitoring and pain scoring, with trend recognition

Compensation

Base Pay: $34.00-$45.00/hour

Pay depends on experience, whether you are licensed/unlicensed, and differentials

Differentials: $3.00/hour weekends, $4.00/hour for overnights

Registered Veterinary Technicians eligible for $6,000 sign-on bonus
