We are currently looking to hire a Part-Time R egistered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Alta Rancho Pet Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

  • Salary: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
  • Schedule: Part-Time
  • Location: 8677 19th St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 917010

Led by Dr. Kathy Henderson for the last 25 years, longevity and commitment to a positive team environment make this a unique hospital to work in.

Who You Are:

3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a Veterinary Technician

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California , or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire required

Knowledge of industry tools and equipment

Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species

Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting

Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare

Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills

Dental procedure experience, scaling, polishing, radiographs, extractions, suturing required

Skilled in IV Catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints

Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care

Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation

Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis

And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
